Manga?

[edit]

We mentioned the word manga once and never made a link. What's the big deal. Just like my Dad (talk) 19:19, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like the word has been removed. I've started a discussion on the project to confirm that this meets the criteria for being considered manga. If so, I'll be fixing up the article to reflect that better. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 15:40, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Neutrality

[edit]

I've renamed the inflammatory sounding "Allegations of Anti-Judaism" section name to reception to be more neutral and in keeping with the MoS. However, it is lacking in neutrality due to its one-sided presentation of a single person's view. The sections needs to be full fleshed out with equally positive and negative views, and everything checked to be sure it comes from a reliable source. -- AnmaFinotera (talk · contribs) 15:43, 18 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

alternate order

[edit]

presently these are listed in publication order, however some have renumbered them in order of the biblical events they portray, https://nextmanga.com/ for example goes:

  • Book 1 – MANGA MUTINY – The story begins with Rebellion in the heavens and failure on earth.
  • Book 2 – MANGA MELECH – Escape from Egypt to crowning of the greatest king on earth.
  • Book 3 – MANGA MESSENGERS – From Solomon to the decline and eventual exile of Israel.
  • Book 4 – MANGA MESSIAH – The climax of the series – the birth and death of Yeshua.
  • Book 5 – MANGA METAMORPHOSIS – From Yeshua’s departure to the wild and treacherous adventures of the early church

I think we should have a second ordering column for this. ScratchMarshall (talk) 06:22, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that's necessary. For the casual reader, order of release is sufficient. If they are familiar with Biblical canon, they will recognize that the order is not the same. We already list the associated books of the bible for anyone who is curious, and that can be compared to a bible anywhere. Granted, this is the order that I keep them in on my bookshelf.
