- A report by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister found here: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/curds/publications/pdf/AFrameworkforCityRegionsWorkingPaper1PDF3314Kb_id11635961.pdf chapter 4, page 74, paragraph 4:1 defines the areas included they are all those mentioned in the article and shown in the map.--Navops47 (talk) 07:17, 16 April 2015 (UTC)

- Yes your right, someone has migrated the article from the original article about the economic city region to the smaller statutory city region and not updated the figure. WatcherZero (talk) 17:19, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
- No the figure quoted was that of the original mapping report (geographical definition) produced by the office of the deputy prime minister UK government that includes the five boroughs travel to work area's TTWA's (work in GM area) if the city region has been redefined in term's of political administration area size councils and population since this previous government publication was published you need to find the new report and source it in the article before changing it.--Navops47 (talk) 17:55, 22 February 2016 (UTC)
