Lead
[edit]- The song was performed by Ira Losco → Only her last name since you've already mentioned her beforehand
- through the national final Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016 → remove italics
- determine the song Ira Losco would ultimately perform at the Eurovision Song Contest → only her last name
- On 14 March 2016, PBS announced that Ira Losco would perform the song "Walk on Water" → remove "the song"
Infobox
[edit]- Song Selection → Song selection
- 17 March 2016 → wasn't it announced that "Walk on Water" would compete as malta's entry on 14 March?
Background
[edit]- to participate at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest → the better preposition here is "it"
- Nothing else I can complain about here
Before Eurovision
[edit]Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016
[edit]- as well as online at the broadcaster's website → the better preposition here is "on"
- You can add "(NBT)" next to "Bulgarian National Television"
- Head of the Delegation → Even if it's written like that in the original source, you don't really need the "the" here
- Link "Montenegro at the Eurovision Song Contest" to Montenegro in the Eurovision Song Contest
- to assess the quality of the voice of the artist → to assess the quality of their voice
- to allow the jury to assess the quality of the voice of the artist → this part isn't backed by the source(?)
- as long as the artist(s) were Maltese → you don't need the paranthesis
- The entire second paragraph of "Competing entries" isn't backed up by the source
- by the local bands The Crowns and The New Victorians → by the local bands the Crowns and the New Victorians
- Make sure that the "Result" parameter in the table in "Semi-final" is centered
- while the interval act featured further performances by Destiny Chukunyere → only her last name here as yu've already mentioned her above
- In "Final", you can link the second paragraph to the first one. I dislike one-line paras, but it's your choice
- Make the detailed jury voted table collapsible
Song selection
[edit]- Following Losco's win at the Malta Eurovision Song Contest 2016, → no need to put the contest's name in italics
- Unlink "Chamelon" here
- made available online at the broadcaster's website → preposition to use is "on"
Promotion
[edit]- No need for a second paragraph; just tuck it to the first one
- Other than that, great work here
At Eurovision
[edit]- Start off this section with this sentence: "The Eurovision Song Contest 2016 took place at the X Arena in X, [COUNTRY]."
- who announced the top 12-point score awarded → who announced the top 12 points awarded
- as having finished in the top 10 and subsequently qualifying for the grand final → "consequently" would fit better here
- There is no "Czechia" related to the Eurovision Song Contest, it's "Czech Republic"; please fix that in the tables for the redlinks to disappear
After Eurovision
[edit]- She spoke of her appreciation that the jury but recognised the closeness of the contest in recent years → The structure of this sentence makes no sense to me
- She received praised from her manager Howard Keith Debono → She received praise from her manager Howard Keith Debono
Other things
[edit]Copy-violation
[edit]- 37.1% is still a good percentage
References
[edit]- No dead links! Congrats! You may archive them, though!
- As far as I've checked them, the refs do cover the assertions made in this article
- "Times of Malta" should be displayed as Times of Malta in the references where it's used, as it's a magazine
Outcome
[edit]- On hold — Sorry for taking me so long to get to this review! It's a very good article, actually, and only has some minor issues that need to be solved before it's ready for promotion. I give you 7 days for that! Greetings and good luck; Cartoon network freak (talk) 16:20, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
