Some effort should be made to introduce an objective point-of-view into this article. As it is, it simply repeats a fable, without considering any critical points of view (e.g. Lanzoni, Lanzoni, Francesco (1927). Le diocesi d'Italia dalle origini al principio del secolo VII (an. 604) (in Italian). Rome: Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, p. 300) which consider the story nothing but a medieval fable. The article fails to mention the work of the Bollandists and the Acta Sanctorum (month of August, Volume III, pp. 701-717). The appeal to prayer books, "His name appears in the Sacramentarium Gelasianum (7th century) and the Sacramentarium of the eighth century", is not confirmatory evidence of historicity. --Vicedomino (talk) 04:39, 15 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
