Contested deletion
[edit]This page should not be speedily deleted because... (I am sorry I do not understand the information on the page that you referenced. What is needed to prevent deletion? We both have the same goal...to get accurate information on Wikipedia. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you) --Davidgoebel (talk) 15:34, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but I don't think i will be able to explain it better than the page about notability for films. Try reading this section WP:NFF that should help you understand better I think. Domdeparis (talk) 16:06, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- NFF does not apply, as film has been distributed on video streaming. Amazon listing. In theaters in both New York Cinema Village, according to Moviefone.com) and L.A. (Arena Cinelounge Sunset, according to Google.) --Nat Gertler (talk) 17:42, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- You're right but this is not the reason for the speedy delete. It's because it has already been deleted as being not notable and there are even less sources and info in this version. Domdeparis (talk) 19:42, 5 January 2018 (UTC)
- all three of the !votes in the deletion discussion focused on the lack of distribution, so the conditions that brought about the delete have changed, so the speedy does not apply. Notability is something that is evaluated based on the topic of the article, not on the content of the article. According to Rotten Tomatoes, film has been reviewed by Hollywood Reporter, Los Angeles Times. If tou want to see this version deleted, you'll need to take it to AFD. --Nat Gertler (talk) 15:07, 6 January 2018 (UTC)
- Could you add those sources ? Domdeparis (talk) 08:38, 7 January 2018 (UTC)
- @NatGertler: any news on the sources that you mentioned? Domdeparis (talk) 09:13, 18 January 2018 (UTC)
