Two items need attention
[edit]I will get back to editing this if I remember, but just in case I forget:
The icon is not maiolica, because the term refers to fired pottery. The icon is painted in oils on tile.
The epigraph is wrongly transcribed, and so the translation is wrong too. It reads: "Tholo superstructo", not "Titulo superextructo". The reference is to the dome, not to the epigraph. Basilwatkinsosb (talk) 11:05, 27 April 2014 (UTC)
