Background and composition
[edit]- Split this into two section one is Background and the other is Composition
- I called the second one "Composition and release" since it mentions the radio release dates. Sebbirrrr (talk) 11:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

Charts
[edit]- Use Template:Single chart for the US and Global 200
- For some weird reason, she doesn't have her own chart history page. If you go here https://www.billboard.com/artist/salem-ilese/chart-history/ you'll be redirected. Sebbirrrr (talk) 11:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- I wasn't redirected, but I checked the sources and it is fine. Sometimes Billboard doesn't have artists pages, it is fine. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 12:37, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

[edit]- I have doubts regarding the reliability of "CheatSheet", tried to look it up on wiki reliable sources, but not much came up. Only one discussion nobody answered Showbiz Cheat Sheet.
- There was a discussion here Wikipedia:Reliable_sources/Noticeboard/Archive_281#Omigosh,_are_Cheatsheet.com_and_WeGotThisCovered.com_reliable? and the consensus was that CheatSheet relies on rumors and speculation. In this case however, I believe it's okay to use because there isn't any speculation about Ilese herself (the author also credits the rolling stone interview). Sebbirrrr (talk) 11:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- That is an even better discussion to prove my point. "Many of the articles are summaries of other sources with additional commentary; for these types of articles, it would be better to cite the original sources if they are reliable", using quotes from other interviews doesn't make statements and opinions reliable. But the opinion is regarding the song, not the artist itself and you have some of that stuff already covered, what you don't have either find a replacement or remove the information. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 12:34, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Removed cheatsheet. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:13, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- La Rata is an unreliable source, from what I could gather the music video was directed by Phillip Lopez, while Clare Gillen was the creative director. Equate at least in an interview with the singer, seems an okay magazine with mostly interviews
- Removed the La Rata source and replaced it with the Equate one. Sebbirrrr (talk) 11:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Source check: 2-7, 10, 11, 13, 22, 25 and 28
- Source 5 needs to be formatted properly, see release history
- Hope I formatted it correctly. Sebbirrrr (talk) 11:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)

Overall
[edit]- Let me know once the issue are addressed. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 10:41, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Hi, I've addressed everything and left some comments as well. Sebbirrrr (talk) 11:31, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Add the mixing and mastering engineers on the prose as well. Either retitle Background section to "Background and production" but you also have to add the songwriters and producers or re-title it to "Background and release" , moving the release dates there and add the engineers on the composition section. Maybe the latter option? Live performances of the song? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 12:27, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Did the latter. Also, you haven't replied to my question about the Polish certification in the lead. She uploaded 3 live performances on her channel 1 2 3 but they weren't performed anywhere notable so I don't think it's worth mentioning them. Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:13, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- Those are more self promotion than going on shows to perform. The closes I found was at radio station KISS FM. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:28, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: I've added the Polish certification in the lead and the radio station performance under the Promotion section. Thanks for the link to the performance, I must've missed it! Sebbirrrr (talk) 13:37, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- I made some small changes in the article, see if you are ok with them. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 13:57, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
- @MarioSoulTruthFan: Yeah that's perfectly fine. Sebbirrrr (talk) 14:05, 9 June 2022 (UTC)
