Career: The klipfontein was not a part of the Hollond America line but the Holland Africa Line.
Adding a picture
[edit]I have an old color (maybe colorized) picture of the Klipfontein which I can scan in. I am unsure of the copyright as it is framed like a piece of art. It is worth posting here to add an extra image to this page?

Move
[edit]The motorship of 1939 was preceded by the steam turbine, 7,063 GRT Klipfontein launched February 8, 1922 (KLIPFONTEIN - ID 3463). That ship was later the Italian Gloriastar and Gloriastella that was bombed and sunk 17 September 1940 at Benghazi. The earlier ship may warrant a later article, thus distinguishing the two is necessary. Palmeira (talk) 13:29, 6 June 2021 (UTC)
