Another Wikicup nomination, so I believe it is appropriate for me to review this! --K. Peake 15:14, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Ha! I don't know why, but I anticipated that you might review this. Which is why I already made some changes to reflect on the issues on you brought up on the other GA review. Erick (talk)
- Magiciandude Sick anticipation on your part, plus it is epic to see you made changes based off of my other review before I even opened the one for this article! --K. Peake 18:06, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
Infobox and lead
[edit]- Remove "Studios" from the names of the studios in the infobox since you are not supposed to add the word when it's part of the parameter
- Ref 2 should instead be used to write about the song being bolero in the body, but keep the genre listed here
- Is Flamenco a genre for the song too since a writer also called the song that?
- Emilio Estefan, Jr. → Emilio Estefan under producers
- "Cuban American Gloria Estefan's sixth studio album" → "Cuban-American singer Gloria Estefan's sixth studio album,"
- "It was written by Kike Santander and Santander and" → "The song was written by Kike Santander, who handled production alongside"
- Add a full-stop after Emilio Estefan
- Target single to Single (music)
- "The song is a Christmas bolero-ballad which deals with selfless love and utilizes church bells." → "A Christmas bolero ballad, the song utilizes church bells and lyrically deals with selfless love." with the targets and wikilink
- Critical reception sentence should be the one directly after this; follow that with the commercial performance one
- "Estefan performed the track live" → "Gloria Estefan performed the song live" since her husband was the most recently mentioned of the family
- Target Vatican to Vatican City
- "for President Bill Clinton during" → "for former President Bill Clinton during" with the target and wikilink
- "fourteenth studio album Brazil305 and" → "fourteenth studio album, Brazil305, and"
- Target music critics to Music journalism
- "who praised th ballad for its instruments" → "who mostly praised the instruments"
- Target Billboard to Billboard (magazine)
Background and composition
[edit]- "Gloria Estefan released her" → "Gloria released her" per MOS:SAMESURNAME
- "Abriendo Puertas which was produced by" → "Abriendo Puertas, which was produced in its entirety by"
- "and her husband Emilio Estefan." → "and Emilio Estefan." because we have already introduced him
- Target holiday album to Christmas music
- "in the album including" → "on the album, including"
- Target single to Single (music)
- Shouldn't the mention of the song as bolero from the source that is currently in the infobox be before the Grammy website here?
- Target ballad to Sentimental ballad
- Are you sure all of the last sentence should be here, as the part where it mentions "elements" of bolero contradicts the genre listed in a way?
- "with the lyrics speaking" → "noting that the lyrics speak" and place a comma after the preceding prose in this sentence
- "for its ideals."" → "for its ideals"." per MOS:QUOTE
Promotion and reception
[edit]- "for Pope John Paul II where" → "for Pope John Paul II, where"
- Mention that the performance was in October 1995
- "in 1995 for the White House presented by President" → "two months later for the White House, presented by then-President" with the target
- "Navidad en Mi Pueblo (2002) and by" → "Navidad en Mi Pueblo (2002), and by"
- "for the single complimenting as a" → "for the single, complimenting it as a"
- Target acoustic to Acoustic music
- "ballad" and praised" → "ballad", and praised"
- "called it an" → "called the song an"
- Is "endeavoring ballad" correct, as google translate says endearing for me?
- "Chuck Campbell of The South Bend Tribune" → "Chuck Campbell of the South Bend Tribune"
- "the track was a" → "the track is a"
- Fix repetition of "song about" in the quote
- "warm track" and noted" → "warm track", and noted"
- Target Mexican folk to Music of Mexico
- "and that it "makes" → "and it "makes"
- "for pop fans."" → "for pop fans"." with the target
- Remove comma after "Más Allá" in the last sentence
Charts
[edit]- Chart (1995/1996) → Chart (1995-96)

References
[edit]- Copyvio score looks top notch at 2.0%!!!!!!!
- Make sure all of these are archived by using the tool
- Wikilink AllMusic on ref 1
- Target El Tiempo to El Tiempo (Colombia) on ref 2
- Ref 3's URL is not accessible in my country of the UK, plus the archive is just the main website; could you fix the archive, plus does it display the info if you can still access the source? Wikilink Sun-Sentinel here too.
- Cite Grammy as publisher instead for ref 4 and target to Grammy Award
- Cite Canciones Top 50 as publisher instead for ref 5
- Target Billboard to Billboard (magazine) on ref 11 and wikilink Nielsen Business Media
- Same issue with ref 3 for ref 12's URL and target Baltimore Sun to The Baltimore Sun

Final comments and verdict
[edit]- On hold after a quick review from me, but I already applauded your effort to take on my previous comments and hopefully you will put in effort to give a timely response here as well! --K. Peake 18:06, 16 January 2021 (UTC)
- Ay-yo! Thanks again for the review. I noticed that I tried to archive the Sun-Sentinel and the Baltimore Sun again with the Wayback Machine, they redirect to the main page. I have them archived under archive.today instead. It sucks they are blocked in your country, especially since I am personally against censorship and that includes region blocking. But I digress, they should work now. Let me know if there's anything else I may have missed. I've been notified that my glasses were shipped just yesterday. Erick (talk) 03:38, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- Magiciandude That is great to hear that you are getting replacement glasses, but you still need to make the fixes I suggested around the bolero genre. --K. Peake 05:57, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- Got it. I reused the other El Tiempo article of Gloria singing to Bill Clinton where it explicitly calls it a bolero ballad. Erick (talk) 21:37, 17 January 2021 (UTC)
- Magiciandude Nice one, I added a comma that was needed for grammar and remove excess use of the word "bolero". ✓ Pass! --K. Peake 07:20, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
