- Interesting life, on good sources, subscrition source accepted AGF, no copyvio obvious. - I like the first hook much better, but how about saying that he escaped that earthquake by playing in Carnegie Hall? - I copy-edited a bit, trying edit summaries to explain. - Name? The postcard just says Luis A. Delgadillo. - The German Wikipedia has some works, which would win us room for an infobox ;) - Do we know a bit more about his compositions? --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:33, 19 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hi, Gerda Arendt, thanks. I've QPQ'd Template:Did you know nominations/Eugénie Brazier. I should have clarified that it isn't clear he stayed in New York from his Carnegie Hall performance to 1931 (it is likely, but not definite), so unfortunately a hook about that would be a bit SYNTH-y. I've cited the full name in the article. There's actually a fair bit more information on his compositions that I haven't added as I honestly don't consider myself musically competent enough to accurately paraphrase. I've tried to expand on the nature of his work etc a bit. What do you think? Eddie891 Talk Work 13:18, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- You don't have to be a musical expert to get the works over from de. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 16:32, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- They are unsourced and I don't feel musical items can be expected to source themselves. I don't read german and don't know what words like "Schriften" means (google says "fonts"?). What you're asking for is unnecessary by the DYK criteria and I quite frankly don't know why I have to do it. Eddie891 Talk Work 23:55, 20 March 2021 (UTC)
- fine then, thank you for explaining. (Schriften means Publications) --Gerda Arendt (talk) 22:38, 23 March 2021 (UTC)
