Fair use rationale for Image:Lucky cover.jpg
[edit]Image:Lucky cover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Conviction over turned
[edit]Hello was wondering if the article should be updated since the conviction in the memoir has been overturned? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.224.181.202 (talk) 22:57, 23 November 2021 (UTC)
Overturned
[edit]It seems like this article ought to reflect the fact that the conviction was overturned and it’s clear that the author actually identified the wrong person. Not to take away from the impact of the book, but largely to represent the full story here. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2603:6010:B704:AA00:3C07:960D:856:47A (talk) 17:06, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
Conviction oveturned
[edit]Let's not go overboard/overly passionate by calling it "fictitious memoir" or that the rape was "alleged" because the man convicted was exonerated. The events still happened - for instance, the memoir did not lead to the man being convicted or anything like that. hbdragon88 (talk) 19:55, 24 November 2021 (UTC)
Yes, we wouldn’t want to make it clear that the wrong persons life was ruined and everything about him in the book was nonsence. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.88.169.15 (talk) 22:05, 26 November 2021 (UTC)
Source title
[edit]Not sure what went wrong with my edits to the article, which I guess someone else will need to undo. At any rate, I was trying to fix the title of reference #6, which should be "Man Wrongly Accused of Rape of Lovely Bones Author Alice Sebold Has Conviction Overturned". LaLeLiLou (talk) 09:24, 30 November 2021 (UTC)
- I fixed the mess and changed the citation title. It now reads "Wrongfully Accused Man in Alice Sebold Rape Case Exonerated". This is not what you will see on the vulture.com page. On my browser, if you hover the cursor over the tab for a web page, it will show you what the underlying markup has in the "title" element. (If the original editor of the citation was accurate, vulture.com has changed it since then from "Man Wrongfully Accused of Author Alice Sebold's Rape Exonerated After 40 Years".) When the browser renders the web page, in bold above the article, you see "Man Wrongly Accused of Rape of Lovely Bones Author Alice Sebold Has Conviction Overturned". So all three are a little different. I thought the original was more informative ("after 40 years"). Any of the three would be a sensible title. If you want to change it to what their (vulture.com) text displays on the screen, be sure to use the Show Preview function before saving your edit. It takes a little time, but it saves a whole lot of time in the long run. I've been there before. Cheers. signed, Willondon (talk) 14:32, 30 November 2021 (UTC)

Why does the name Anthony Broadwater redirect to this page? He has been exonerated and should have his own page. Please change this. 38.2.73.157 (talk) 13:30, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. You could make an account, and create and article on him via WP:AFC. ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 13:41, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
