Did you know... that in spite of her great reputation in Europe, operaticsopranoLucienne Bréval had limited success in America as critics thought her singing lacked polish?
I noticed that A Concise Biographical Dictionary of Singers actually says that her birth date was December 5. I checked MGG and they say November 4 (as well as Grove), so I guess we'll go with that unless there are sources supporting the December 5 date. On a second note, there is also a difference in the Covent Garden performances with one source saying she premiered in 1899 and the other in 1904.Nrswanson (talk) 17:12, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
