Why 5.88%? Why not 6%? I don't imagine it can be measured so precisely anyway. Biscuittin (talk) 15:35, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
I believe the 5.88% target was calculated by using a year-on-year reduction in line to meet the UK government's then target of 60% reduction in greenhouse gases by 2050.
