  • Infobox: "Released" date? Needs to be in {{start date}} template
  • Infobox: "Length" needs to be in {{duration}} template
GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
I am quick failing the article because of the prose and the instability it has with the debate about weather or not this will ever become a "single". Here are a few examples of prose errors:
  • "and also heavily samples his 2009 work," - what is considered a "heavily sample"?
  • "It also contains portions of "Soul Makossa" written by Manu Dibango, contains a sample of "Think (About It)" as performed by Lyn Collins, and contains samples of "Comment No. 1" performed by Gil Scott-Heron" - is a runoff sentence
  • "and was 5 minutes, 54 seconds" - does not belong in the lead
  • Too many sentences with the word "the song" - needs a variety
  • "received strong reviews from critics" - what is considered a "strong review"?
  • "a 35 minute music video directed by Kanye West" - Just his last name is needed
  • "Before being released a single, the song charted at 104 the South Korean Gaon Chart" - (1) is this its peak position or debut position? (2) add "on" after "the" (the one after 104) (3) is missing a word "as" before "a" (4) this sentence contradicts itself with the infobox you used, is this a CD single, promotional single, digital download or just a song (which it is currently being presented as)?
  • "and has performed the song at several notable music festivals," - remove "notable"
  • "Kanye West previewed "Lost in the World" at the offices of Facebook in July of 2010 by rapping the first verse of it"
  1. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR):
There are a lot of titles that are in capitalization which (even though the site presents itself as such) are not supposed to be formatted that way.
  2. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  • "where West first announced his intention of releasing it as a single, however, as of December 2011, it still has not been released as a single." - so there is no need for "Before being released a single" because no I (the reader) is confused. The article cannot be "broad in its coverage" because the "single" has yet to have an official release date so, if/when the "single" is release the editor will have to update it frequently because of peak positions, certifications, more music reviews, etc
  1. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  2. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  • "however, as of December 2011, it still has not been released as a single." - will need to be updated on January 1, 2012 and February 1, 2012, etc until the song's official release is mentioned. Therefore, the article is not stable and cannot be until this is issue is resolved.
  1. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
  2. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
This article is not stable and have prose issues (as stated above). Try renominating the article once a few months have passed since its release. Best, Jonayo! Selena 4 ever 00:02, 28 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
