Another los siete
[edit]There must have been another Los siete de la raza. The law prohibits buying gasoline in any container but an approved gas can. The reason was that 7 Mexican men were thrown out of a bar in Frisco, bought a bucket of gasoline and threw it into the bar, followed by a match. Several people died in the fire. The men were caught, tried and sentenced to death. They used avery stunt in the book to delay the execution until, seven year later, Pat Brown commuted their death sentence because "they had suffered enough." Odd there is no mention of this on the internet.
