[edit]

@Choess: Hi, you seem to be the one in charge here :) Thomas Howard Molyneux sailed the Jordan River from the Sea of Galilee to the Dead Sea to map the region in August (!!) 1847 and died of malaria (and exhaustion?) at the end of the expedition. Deserves attention, maybe a page of his own. What do you think? He shows up at Jordan River, Dead Sea, Lisan Peninsula, John MacGregor (sportsman), Zev Vilnay, List of people on the postage stamps of Israel. See also this biography.

Maybe bring in @Kittybrewster, Ordyg, and Mabelina: who've been taking care of Molyneux baronets. Cheers y'all, Arminden (talk) 17:55, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see why not; he looks like he's sufficiently notable and could be sourced, although I don't plan to take up the project immediately. No obvious connection with the Norfolk Howards; he seems to be a scion of the Molyneux of Castle Dillon baronets. Choess (talk) 18:32, 22 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Great, something to be looking forward to! Please give me a ping when you get there. Thanks! Arminden (talk) 07:41, 23 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
