I've changed the name of his elder brother. Francis and John were both simply styled "The Honourable" until 1856, as sons of a courtesy viscount. Only when their father acceded to the marquessate in 1856 did Francis become entitled to the style of "Lord"; John, as the eldest son, assumed the courtesy title of "Viscount Drumlanrig," and was never properly known as "Lord John Sholto Douglas".
