Centres policy

[edit]

Is the designation of 'centres' based on ideas about activity centres or something else? It would be good to have more information on the thinking behind the London Plan centres policy so that users of WP can make comparisons between other cities with similar policies. What are the 156 district centres and 1200 neighbourhood and local centres

[edit]

In the article it says the London Plan identifies 156 district centres and over 1200 neighbourhood and local centres but it doesn't list what they are or where to find somewhere that does. Can someone give me a link to somewhere that lists these I'm sure a site must exist. May be we should list them in this Wikipedia article or a separate list article. Or if it's to long and/or not notable enough the article should contain a link to a site page that lists them. Carlwev (talk) 22:43, 26 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Replacement Plan

[edit]

Was the replacement plan published in 2011? It is 2012 now so text "the replacement plan expected to be published in 2011" should be edited. Nintendo Max (talk) 23:09, 5 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect allocations

[edit]

Poplar and Leyton are in the wrong category. A P Monblat (talk) 23:51, 27 December 2014 (UTC) The met centres are:[reply]

Bromley
Croydon
Ealing
Wood Green
Harrow
Romford
Uxbridge
Hounslow
Kingston
Stratford
Ilford
Sutton

A P Monblat (talk) 23:59, 27 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Stratford is not considered as a MC. Wokolpalni (talk) 21:24, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This has recently changed. Please see Table A2.1 on page 334 at http://www.london.gov.uk/sites/default/files/FALP%20ITP%20changes%2015%20December%202014.pdf. Further info. and a clean version showing the final product available at http://www.london.gov.uk/priorities/planning/london-plan/draft-further-alterations-to-the-london-plan. —Nelson Ricardo (talk) 21:50, 29 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A P Monblat and Nelson Ricardo, I know that you are not just editors of wikipedia, but also ".london.gov.uk" one. Everyone can edit london.gov.uk as everyone does with wikipedia. Truthiseveryminghnj (talk) 20:41, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. Boris lets anyone indiscriminately edit his website. LOL. Play nice or take your delusions elsewhere. london.gov.uk is not a wiki. It is a government website (that's what the .gov part of the URL is about). The only people who can edit london.gov.uk are authorized employees of the Greater London Authority, Isis hackers, and North Korea. —Nelson Ricardo (talk) 23:20, 12 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Replacement Plan part 2

[edit]

' As of June 2012 minor alterations are being made to the plan to comply with the National Planning Policy Framework and other changes in national policy.' - this needs updating, as it over 4 1/2 years later. Jackiespeel (talk) 19:23, 8 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

And RPG3 links to a list which does not mention it - [1] might be relevant. 19:28, 8 February 2017 (UTC)
