safety
[edit]I will update this web page with more information on bucking with suitable links. Trail builders and maintainers do a whole lot of bucking, after all, and this article really should be expanded to provide more details about the ins and outs of safety.
I also see that the article lacks suitable references and such. I will retrieve the U. S. Forest Service's research on safe chainsaw work on public lands and see if any references are suitable. NotSoOldHippy (talk) 01:47, 28 August 2010 (UTC)
three 32's and a 10
[edit]"On the West Coast common cuts on a large Pine or Fir tree are three 32's and a 10." Presumably these are lengths, in feet...? Heavenlyblue (talk) 23:10, 7 November 2020 (UTC)
