La Scala debut
[edit]Elizabeth Forbes does explicitly assert that his La Scala debut was in L'ebreo in 1855. We may need to note this discrepancy. Since both Amadeus online as well as New Grove have been known to have errors, can we be certain which version is the "correct" one? --Robert.Allen (talk) 08:26, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- I find that Amadeus tends to be more accurate when in comes to this kind of thing, but as you said, neither source is perfect. I believe La Scala has an archive search on their website and I will try and check there to confirm.4meter4 (talk) 08:33, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
- It looks like their archive may only go back to 1950. (Too bad, if that's true. It was offline when I tried to access it.) --Robert.Allen (talk) 09:01, 16 October 2010 (UTC)
