Elizabeth Forbes does explicitly assert that his La Scala debut was in L'ebreo in 1855. We may need to note this discrepancy. I find that Amadeus tends to be more accurate when in comes to this kind of thing, but as you said, neither source is perfect. I believe La Scala has an archive search on their website and I will try and check there to confirm.4meter4 (talk) 08:33, 16 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
