Name?

[edit]

How did it get it's name? Welsh settlers from North Wales?86.149.181.130 (talk) 18:36, 17 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The following statement in this article sates:
"The striking similarities between Kleinkommetjie Bay in which the valley resides and Llandudno in Wales were noted as reasons for choosing this name"
Which smells of bullshit because they look nothing like each other geographically.
* Llandudno, Cape Town
* Llandudno, North Wales

What you, or any other editor or reader, thinks is irrelevant. I've found a source that explains it. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 19:27, 11 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
To be more precise, if you want it changed, find a more reliable source which states otherwise. · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 09:11, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Rename to Llandudno, Cape Town

[edit]

It is a suburb of Cape Town, and the usual way of disambiguating suburbs of Cape Town on WP is as Suburb, Cape Town · · · Peter Southwood (talk): 09:01, 15 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]
