Can we make sure that the "National Rail lines" boxes are only used for stations that exist at present, and not for stations which have closed? --RFBailey 17:00, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
The article seems to be well referenced, is it time to remove the request for additional citations for verification? Hagis uk (talk) 09:15, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
Article split?
[edit]@Darrelljon has just suggested that the article be split so that the 21st century content goes into a new article Liverpool Baltic railway station. 10mmsocket (talk) 09:57, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- Support per nomination. I think it's cleaner and neater to separate the two lives of the station as they are going to have different names. Where a station simply re-opens under the same name I can see that the article is kept - and there are a lot of them - see Category:Reopened railway stations in Great Britain. What I'm not sure if whether the is precedence for doing it where the name changes. 10mmsocket (talk) 09:58, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- Strong support; I moved content from Dalcross railway station to Inverness Airport railway station a few months back, same should be done here (IMO, as soon as possible). A passing mention in the lead of this article is all that is required. Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 15:18, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
Support - makes good sense to me. LicenceToCrenellate (talk) 17:13, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
Taken the liberty of doing it because it feels blatantly obvious (even if I broke some rule somewhere...!) - not that anyone opposed it today though... Mattdaviesfsic (talk) 20:18, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
- It's called WP:BRD. You are bold. If someone disagrees, they'll revert it and we discuss some more. That simple. 10mmsocket (talk) 21:00, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
