Additional mills
[edit]These mills need referencing before they can be added to the list, per discussion at WP:RSN. With the exception of Ainsdale, they are all mentioned here, which is not of sufficient reliability for Wikipedia purposes. Mjroots (talk) 10:53, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Maps column
[edit]What's the purpose of the "Maps" column in the table? Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 19:40, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Have a look at List of windmills in East Sussex, for example. (Although I think it's badly implemented and should use inline referencing for greater clarity.)
- Note also that other counties often include a pushpin map at the top. To achieve that here, we'd need to split off Greater Manchester and Merseyside into separate lists. This list currently covers all of historic Lancashire, which isn't currently supported by the location map system. -- Dr Greg talk 20:14, 4 March 2015 (UTC)
- Oh, I see. Thanks very much, Dr G for the clear explanation. Hopefully it will be populated at some time, then. As you may have seen in my edit summary, the location for Warton Peg Mill is inaccurate - the correct one can be found at Listed buildings in Bryning-with-Warton, but I wasn't sure how to correct it, as they two articles seem to use different co-ord systems.
