Can't think of a good reason for that image to be in this article, especially as the project is not mentioned in the body of the article at all. Removed. Astronaut (talk) 14:26, 13 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Formatted to table

[edit]

I have translated the page's key contents into relevant tables, post here with any problems or comments regarding this. Newsburst (talk) 16:51, 23 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The table is currently in very poor form. Too much empty space. I suggest having only two columns. The first column for all the bite sized info (name, floors, year of projected completion, etc) and the second column for the long descriptions.68.147.216.129 (talk) 21:29, 9 April 2015 (UTC)BrianPansky (talk) 21:34, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is there a better layout for this information than a table? The current table is pathologically unbalanced; one column, the last one, contains much more content than any of the other eight columns, so much so that every table row becomes extremely tall just to accomodate that ninth column. This is terribly wasteful of screen space. At the moment I have a 1000-pixel browser window showing the middle of that table, and no text at all is visible in any of those first eight columns, just empty space, while the ninth column forms a narrow strip filled with text from top to bottom. Any suggestions of a better format?  Unician   05:18, 29 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, see my suggstion in the Formatting section above. The table should only have two columns (though I suppose it could be three columns, with the first column being a list of the categories on information that will appear in the second column, and the third column just being the huge long descriptions).BrianPansky (talk) 21:36, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

megapower tower at 5000 mtrs?

[edit]

shouldn't we add the 1990's Dutch megapower tower idea. That should have been around 5000 mtrs tall [[1]]. Arnoutf (talk) 20:44, 8 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

can we be realistic now?

[edit]

who really believes that the Obayashi Corporation is being true when they state that they plan to build a space elevator in 2050? We all know that this is a publicity stunt. I think that the year should be changed to "undetermined" EggsInMyPockets (talk) 06:07, 1 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

Suggested change of article name

[edit]

This article should be renamed to something like 'Visionary Buildings' and should not replicate any entries in List of future tallest buildings article. The terms 'Proposed' and 'under construction' have specific meanings according to the CTBUH (the leading authority of tall structures and buildings). Comments?
