List of Canadian Roman Catholic saints → List of Canadian Catholic saints – Per WP:CONSISTENCY with List of Catholic saints, Lists of Catholics, etc. Chicbyaccident (talk) 21:25, 19 August 2018 (UTC)
- Oppose - in non-Catholic majority countries the usual term is "Roman Catholic" and all these saints are "Roman" as opposed to Eastern Catholic. The consistency argument is a weak one since there is a mish-mash of titles in this area, and some have been moved with very little discussion. StAnselm (talk) 18:55, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
- Your assertion fails WP:CONSENSUS in 1) Catholic Church#Name, 2) Latin Church#Name, and 3) Roman Catholic (term). It is therefore advocating a unique exception to this article by argument WP:IDONTLIKEIT. Chicbyaccident (talk) 20:46, 25 August 2018 (UTC)
- Actually, nothing in those articles contradicts what I've said. StAnselm (talk) 02:13, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- I take it you didn't read them, starting from Catholic Church#Name. Chicbyaccident (talk) 13:08, 26 August 2018 (UTC)

- Support - this list includes two Blessed Ukrainian Catholic bishops, so it is not restricted to Roman Catholics. Place Clichy (talk) 15:23, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Place Clichy: Thanks for your contributions. However, would you mind arguing for and contributing to a WP:CONSENSUS of your assertions on Latin Church#Name here, please: Wikipedia_talk:Naming_conventions_(Catholicism)#Latin_Church? Thank you! Chicbyaccident (talk) 16:29, 26 August 2018 (UTC)
- Support. Canadian Catholic saints unambiguously means those accepted by the (Roman) Catholic Church. There's no need for Roman there. Disclosure: I am involved in discussion to which this is a relevant example, see User:Andrewa/Naming conventions (Catholicism) and its talk page. Andrewa (talk) 10:06, 27 August 2018 (UTC)
