Europe/Dublin notes
I'm probably one of the people (like this one in the talk) not immediately understanding why Europe/Dublin columns are inverted. The note on the right column isn't completely clear: I'd add something like (citing the talk) While most countries use the term "Standard Time" to mean the time that used in winter, the Irish legislation is written such that "Standard Time" applies in summer. -- Massic80 (talk) 14:09, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- Anyway, the UTC offset seems to be wrong (flipped). The resulting UTC offset should be the same as for (e.g. London) 2.228.40.100 (talk) 14:31, 8 July 2024 (UTC)
- I un-inverted them, adding text to the sections describing the "UTC offset" and "Time zone abbreviations" columns saying that 1) Ireland is different here and 2) "SDT" means "winter time" and "DST" means "summer time" in Ireland, even though "summer time" is standard time there (complete with citations for the Irish statutes making it so).
