Pyschobabble
[edit]the link from the artist pyschobabble is to the technical term we need to either delete the link or make an artist page --Chocrates 00:26, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
- I concur and will update the link to Psychobabble (group), similar to Astral Projection (group). --Bfx0 12:38, 23 October 2007 (UTC)
Should this article be merged into the Trance music page?
[edit]Shouldn't this article be merged into the Trance music page? I think Trance genres should be a subtitle under Trance music. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.220.2.203 (talk) 07:58, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
Neo-trance
[edit]To me, Neo-trance seems to be more a catchy term than a real genre. Hence, I suggest leaving it out. --Bfx0 (talk) 12:47, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
Dutch Trance
[edit]I think that maybe this should be added? Artists like System F, Rank 1, DJ Tatana etc.
And Trance-core? I dont think this should be here at all. it's more post-hardcore than trance. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.43.160.127 (talk) 04:07, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

Trancecore
[edit]"Term referring to the combination of trance and hardcore techno, versus the popularly assumed combination of trance and metalcore or post-hardcore. "
In which case, this should not be taken out. But what I do object to is the fact that the majority, if not all, of the example artists listed are not in fact Trancecore artists. They are Hardcore Punk type bands. I can think of several artists to put in this category, none of which are currently listed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.254.147.156 (talk) 12:14, 25 August 2010 (UTC)
- I have a problem with the term trancecore, because it's not very specific. It could technically refer to a mix between any kind of trance and any kind of hardcore. Compare: Freeform Hardcore and psycore (the latter don't have an article but artists such as Leviathan; the most famous labels are probably Cenobite Records and early releases of Bionic Recordings). Dubstep?
[edit]I don't understand why dubstep is included on this list. How is dubstep a subgenre of trance? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.250.24.65 (talk) 01:22, 3 January 2011 (UTC)
Nitzhonot
[edit]There used to be a full article on Nitzhonot, and -even though it is mentioned in the Trance Genres article itself- it has no section of its own. Discogs.com lists Nitzhonot as a style (http://www.discogs.com/groups/topic/206561); why is it not listed? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Magnifixcat (talk • contribs) 02:18, 12 May 2011 (UTC)

Bubble trance
[edit]So, where does "bubble trance" fit in the scheme of subgenres?
Just curious. 2600:8800:785:1300:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 03:43, 12 September 2018 (UTC)
Psytrance vs Goa trance
[edit]Although Psytrance and Goa trance share common origins and aspects, today we can clearly establish a limit between them. However, the majority of artists labeled as goa makers are not "pure" goa artists (they are more hybrid like Astral Projection or Transwave) or are not at all (e.g. I know no track from Infected Mushroom that I could call goa). We may give examples of artists that make goa trance that is really distinct from psytrance. I suggest: Ajna, RA, Somnesia, Trinodia, Imba, E-mantra and Astrancer. 3pi14 (talk) 14:34, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
Trance-fusion?
[edit]Talking about jazz... the description does not contain the word "trance." Is it a fusion of trance with jazz-fusion? Is it even accurate? WorldQuestioneer (talk) 02:24, 1 March 2020 (UTC)
