- List of Top 25 singles for 2012 in Australia → List of top 25 singles for 2012 in Australia
- List of Top 100 songs for 2018 in Mexico → List of top 100 songs for 2018 in Mexico
- List of Top 20 songs for 2010 in Mexico → List of top 20 songs for 2010 in Mexico
– Case fixes: "top 25", "top 20", and "top 100" are descriptive, not proper names or otherwise appropriate to capitalize. Many (most) of the articles in categories with these already use the lowercase "top", and I will ask for bot or AWB help to fix the rest if there's no controversy here, as this discussion will hopefully demonstrate. - Support: These titles are each a description of a somewhat vaguely defined class of things, not the proper name of a specific thing. I checked all three of the listed articles and found only one cited source that included the phrase "Top X". —BarrelProof (talk) 20:15, 29 August 2019 (UTC)
- Should the phrase be hyphenated? (e.g., "List of top-25 singles for 2012 in Australia") —BarrelProof (talk) 18:44, 4 September 2019 (UTC)
- I'm ambivalent. The hyphen makes "top 25" a property of the single, but the lists are really just the 25 top singles; maybe write it that way instead? Or just leave it. Comma omission, when this unclear, is not as big a deal (to me) as over-capitalization. Dicklyon (talk) 04:24, 7 September 2019 (UTC)

- Some data on title patterns of similar articles. 82 "List of top n" articles, 97 "List of Top n" articles (though all for Australia and Mexico), plus a bunch of articles like List of UK top-ten singles in 2018, List of Billboard top-ten singles. I would tend to agree that the word "top" should only be capitalized if it appears as part of the name of a specific chart, e.g. in List of Romanian Top 100 number ones of the 2000s, List of Adult Top 40 number-one songs of the 2010s, etc. So support the proposed moves. Not strongly opposed to hyphens, though there seem to currently be zero articles of this sort using hyphens, so probably better not to overhaul the status quo (such as it is).
