Glass Needle
[edit]The towers of the Glass Needle project are presented as separate towers because they are separate towers of the one proposal. They are part of the same project. Welshleprechaun (talk) 20:25, 29 November 2009 (UTC)
- Agreed. Although they form part of the same development, as they are separate structures, we should keep that part as it is. Bettia (talk) 10:01, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
Fastest-growing capital city in Europe?
[edit]This subject has already been discussed (sort of) at Talk:Cardiff, but it's come up here as well so it needs discussion. If you do a Google search on this subject, one of the first hits is this news story about London being the fastest growing capital, and seeing as that part of the UK has always been the most heavily populated, I don't see how Cardiff's population could be growing any quicker than London's. The source provided for this 'fact' is merely a promotional piece which cites a travel guide as its source - I don't think this is in any way reliable. Therefore I've put a fact tag on this. Bettia (talk) 09:56, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Another source here. I would imagine that growth rates are measured proportionally, so it could indeed be growing faster than London. Taking the rough populations of the cities: 325,000 and 7,000,000...if the populations grew by 32,500 and 700,000 respectively, they'd be growing at the same rate. Welshleprechaun (talk) 10:02, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- Again, that's another promotional piece. We need to find a properly conducted study from a reliable source before we can put this claim in as a fact. Bettia (talk) 11:00, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- After having googled it[1], most of the results on the first three pages come up with Cardiff, however they are similar websites (universities, aerospace companies, press), but no official studies etc. In the same three pages, London was mentioned twice I think as the fastest growing. Welshleprechaun (talk) 15:49, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
- I've removed it until a reliable source can be found. Welshleprechaun (talk) 16:59, 30 November 2009 (UTC)

Hayes Apartments
[edit]What is the height of the Hayes Apartments at St. David's???...SethWhales talk 21:29, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- 34.5 metres. [2]. To me they look taller than they actually are. Maybe this list could be extenede to include buildings above 30m/100ft. Welshleprechaun 23:05, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
Buildings AND Structures
[edit]Shouldn't the Millennium Stadium be included in the list now the article title has been changed? I can't see any reason why not. Sionk (talk) 19:47, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
- With the same reasoning Stadium House should be listed as considerably taller than the spires of the Millennium Stadium, if you include the additional 40(?)metre UFO-like structure on its roof. Sionk (talk) 00:01, 14 October 2011 (UTC)
Skyscrapernews.com
[edit]I read this article with interest, there's a lot of work gone into it! But then I couldn't help noticing the page is, in effect, a re-hash and synopsis of skyscrapernews.com? It warrants a "one source" clean-up box, methinks :) Sionk (talk) 19:47, 11 October 2011 (UTC)
