Christophe Colomb

Christophe Colomb is not French! He was born in Genoa in Italy and lived in Spain.

The article does not claim that he was French. Nevertheless, the French Navy named this steam frigate after him, as the article correctly lists. Rif Winfield (talk) 15:42, 24 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
