This page claims that all Ada Jones songs are in public domain. According to many interpretations, sound recordings prior to 1972 are under State copyright law, which in some juristictions (New York) never expire. Should this sentence be removed? 78.26 (talk) 17:40, 1 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Found the answer to my question: All sound recordings in the US will be covered by federal law in 2067, which means that they are not perpetually unavailable. But the cynic in me says that in 2066 there will be another copyright extension. . . - Gus ^{(T, C)} 2012-06-06 16:28Z
