Assembly status?
[edit]Can we assign a status to these genomes such as survey, draft, finished, etc.? There is a paper describing how the categories can be assigned. It would be useful to see, for example, a chain of publications improving a given assembly. --Dan Bolser (talk) 10:36, 22 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi Dan: definitely useful, but I think apart from very few plant examples most genomes are in a draft state of one class or another. (or worse) I wouldn't want to lean so much out of the window to call the difference between High-Qual and improved high-qual draft. I reckon you can do this for potato? --Usadel (talk) 15:05, 23 July 2013 (UTC)

Published review
[edit]A new review in Horticultural Research gives 180 species, which should be harmonized with this (increasingly unmanageable) list. [1] Agricolae (talk) 19:50, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
