This list calls itself a dynamic list, and has a notability criterion: This is a list of notable schools in Port Harcourt. I believe this is the wrong approach and has an undesirable effect. There are a finite and relatively small number of schools in Port Harcourt. The exhaustive list can be contained here. We don't need the notability criterion if, instead, we require non notable entries to be referenced. The reason the current list is undesirable is that it encourages stub articles to be created for schools where no secondary sources are available. That is, in an effort to achieve completeness, editors are creating articles for non notable schools, and these are then being listed for deletion. Much better to have this as an exhaustive list and a redirect target for the non notable schools. We could also say something about the schools where due. I'll now boldly remove the dynamic list template and change the inclusion criterion. Please discuss here if you disagree. Sirfurboy🏄 (talk) 12:07, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree to the removal of the dynamic list template, as it contradicts the inclusion criteria, and the phrase "You can help by adding missing items" encourages people to add schools without articles. I have, therefore, re-removed that template. As for an exhaustive list, very definitely not, as per WP:NOTDIR. If stubs are being created for non-notable schools, they can be deleted through the usual channels. - Arjayay (talk) 12:44, 7 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
