Non-original programs
[edit]Ellen (2013–2017)
The linked show "Ellen" aired in the 90's. The talk show "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" first aired in 2013 to present.
I'm not sure which is incorrect in the list(the show or the date), but it has to be one of them.

- Support for move request from FX to NBC but Oppose for move request for BBC programmes. For List of television programmes broadcast by the BBC RM, it seems be grammatically incorrect. 36.77.140.172 (talk) 12:57, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support for the pages among this list that only list original programming. Oppose for those that list both original and acquired programming (like Cartoon Network's page). 2600:4040:103D:2300:B8B4:C586:E891:A189 (talk) 13:34, 22 June 2020 (UTC)

- Support for pages with only original shows, Oppose List of programs broadcast by Cartoon Network, List of programs broadcast by Nickelodeon and any others that have lists of acquired shows. FunhausFrank (talk) 15:33, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support all. Any program which is syndicated or second run is not notable at all to list on a list such as these. There are literally hundreds of places a program will be broadcast on all over the world - how is that even useful? There is a reason why we only list the first run in the program's infobox and episode tables - anything else is just trivia. --Gonnym (talk) 19:17, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose CN, Nick, Disney/Junior/XD and Universal Kids, support the rest. Universal Kids pretty much only airs "acquired" shows and has very few originals. A lot of acquired shows on CN, Nick, and Disney are notable/important to the channel histories, ex. PAW Patrol (acquired by Nick) is one of its highest-rated and most-played shows now, and Johnny Test (acquired by CN) was one of CN's most-aired shows for years. The acquired programming is important to list in those cases. Hammill Ten (talk) 22:34, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose moving the following pages, as it may not be completely obvious initially looking at them:
- Oppose renaming the American Broadcasting Company page due to List of programs broadcast by American Broadcasting Company § Film presentations, since such theatrical films like 1956's The Ten Commandments (which they regularly show about every Easter Sunday) were acquired from their respective film studios and not really original to the ABC Network. Furthermore, List of programs broadcast by American Broadcasting Company § Specials lists the Peanuts animated specials, many of which had previously aired regularly on CBS in the 1960s-1990s (like A Charlie Brown Christmas) before moving to ABC around 2001.
- Oppose renaming the CBS page, because AFAIK at least one of the CBS Network's former dramas was acquired instead of being original: the British show The Prisoner, which previously aired on the UK network ITV.
- Rename the NBC page instead to List of current NBC original programming, adding the word "current" for precision purposes since that network's former programs were split to a separate page, List of programs previously broadcast by NBC.
- Oppose renaming List of television programmes broadcast by the BBC. As a previous commentator stated, the suggested title seems to be grammatically incorrect. Per the MOS:TIES, that title should be rendered in proper British English, not the same American English format used for the American networks.
- And then after also filtering out those pages that list "acquired" or "non-original", I will only support moving the USA Network page as suggested. Zzyzx11 (talk) 23:36, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Support moving page from FX to USA Network,
Neutral for moving NBC Page, but Oppose moving for moving ABC, CBS and BBC because there are some acquired programme that aired in the network. I give special attention to List of television programmes broadcast by the BBC. I Oppose moving it because as many commentator stated, the suggested title seems to be grammatically incorrect. Per the MOS:TIES, that title should be rendered in proper British English, not the same American English format for American TV Network. I also suggested that this request should be filtered whether there have many acquired programs broadcasted by a network because It founded that terrestrial broadcasters also by some cable networks often use acquired programming by other broadcasters to aired by many TV Networks. It should gave more attention to move request of terrestrial networks page. 114.125.44.81 (talk) 01:27, 23 June 2020 (UTC)- I change that mind to Support renaming NBC page but suggested renamed as instead to List of current NBC original programming, adding the word "current" for precision purposes since that network's former programs were split to a separate page, and turning a former page title become a disambiguation page. 114.125.44.81 (talk) 01:33, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- Comment - I'd suggest to St3095 they withdraw this multi-move RM and break it up into more manageable chunks based on the feedback. Probably some of these should be handled singly. -- Netoholic @ 06:29, 23 June 2020 (UTC)
- Yep. For example, Syfy is another one like Freeform – not all of their "new" programs that Syfy have aired over their existence have been "Syfy originals". (e.g. A good chunk of the Canadian sci-fi shows Syfy has picked up over the years...) IOW, this is too complex a request to be handled in "bulk", and these ones will likely have to be looked at one-by-one. --IJBall (contribs • talk) 20:53, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
- I think many RM requestes are not listed whether there have original or acquired programmes, particularly from Terrestrial networks which they aired many imported programmes. I suggested that this RM should be filtered only for those which are have original programming. For BBC move, there are have grammatical issue involve as this article should using proper British English, not American or Australian format as this. 36.77.93.31 (talk) 23:22, 25 June 2020 (UTC)
- I agree with your comment. There's too much confusion with original versus acquired programming for this to pass as is. Paper Luigi T • C 01:48, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
