Name of this article
[edit]As this article contains no individual locomotive entries I feel it's name needs revising. (Either that or add the individual loco details to it.) How about List of preserved British Rail diesel locomotive classes? Railwayfan2005 (talk) 21:05, 2 January 2010 (UTC)

Scope
[edit]This article is a list of preserved British Rail diesel locomotives. It has been attracting a great deal of content that did not fit that description, and was rapidly becoming a list of non-steam rail traction of Great Britain. Accordingly, I have removed all of the electric locomotives, the railcars and multiple-units, the non-BR locos and anything that isn't preserved. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 20:38, 31 August 2019 (UTC)
- In which case I feel the introduction needs to be edited to reflect what you've done as it promises more than it delivers Andywebby (talk) 12:18, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
- OK. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 13:17, 20 September 2021 (UTC)
