Kieron Toner
[edit]I have reverted a recent change on this person. The list of people from Lewisham comprises people of notability (see Wikipedia:Notability). At this stage I don't think Toner meets the criteria; however, a recent change suggested (in the edit comments):
- "Toner has made significant contributions to debates about Australian economic policies in the 1980s, investment location decisions and has developed the work ofr Tinbergen. He is also a former tv presenter and actor"
If these claims can be independently substantiated from reputable sources, then he may be sufficiently notable for a Wikipedia article in his own right, and so could then be included on this page. Paul W (talk) 16:03, 11 July 2013 (UTC)
Citations
[edit]I have added a citation. Hence I have reverted the note to one of insufficient citations Notthebestusername (talk) 09:59, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Edmond Halley
[edit]I have added Edmond Halley's name to the list. He used to live in Lee (now a part of the borough of Lewisham) and is buried here. Notthebestusername (talk) 09:59, 5 January 2015 (UTC)
Move discussion in progress
[edit]There is a move discussion in progress on Talk:Grade I and II* listed buildings in Bexley which affects this page. Please participate on that page and not in this talk page section. Thank you. —RMCD bot 11:48, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
