[edit]A page similar to this one. List of people from San Francisco, is currently under review as an article for deletion, for reasons which would apply to this article as well. I am conducting an RfC on the talk page of the above-mentioned list to determine whether the concensus agrees on keeping such lists or not. Any and all comments are more than welcome. Carlos Romero's comments on joshua jude contributions
[edit]hi, im Carlos Romero born and raised in tucson. i know josh just like most people in tucson do, he does alot in tucson. i dont have one single friend who isnt behind him for mayor not to mention he might run for house of reps in our district. Any how, Tucson has a huge community social group on myspace.com called The Tucson Group! a dude name Mike Baldwin is group leader and also happens to be josh's election manager. The entire online population is talkin about how people from other states are invading Tucson's articles just to pick on sombody who is cool enough to represent our town to the fullest. ask anybody from Tucson under 40 years old who josh is and they'll stick up for him. LOL Tucson has its eye on wikipedia now, big Josh speaks for for everyone in Tucson Group. - our group has a membership of 5,000 Tucson computer users and our group's leader reports to josh! why does some guy from germany thinks he knows more about people from our town than we do. Tucson is our home not urs. anyone who wants to reach me may also do it by myspace.com/nextlevelcarlos thanks —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.230.61.123 (talk) 18:55, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

The List is misleading?
[edit]The vast majority of the people on this list are not really from Tucson. They were not born there, did not grow up there nor live there any significant period of time. I don't think that just because some celebrity bought a vacation home there or owns an additional home there that isn't their primary residence then that identifies them as from Tucson. I agree that this list needs to be cleaned up. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PizzaAddict (talk • contribs) 03:04, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
- This is a concern on many city pages, PizzaAddict. Usually the biggest concern is with folks who have attended university in a city, which is normally handled, like it is for Tucson, by having a separate List of University of Arizona people. This list is predicated on the premise, "born in, or have lived in". If a person meets either of those two criteria, exclusive of UofA folks, then they should stay. How would you go about defining those folks who only own a "vacation home" or own "an additional home"? Onel5969 TT me 03:21, 22 August 2017 (UTC)
