[edit]How is Nandita Das a person from Orissa? Her wiki article says she's from Dehli and doesn't mention so much as a parent from Orissa. Siyavash 14:37, 18 February 2006 (UTC)
- Her Wiki article also says She is the daughter of noted Oriya painter Jatin Das. So there is at least some connection with Orissa. However, I have no knowledge as to whether that is sufficient to include her in this article. Coyets 06:50, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit]the ones without Wikipedia articles to show their notability must be removed, unless something can be added to demonstrate they would unquestionably be suitable for one, such as being a state or national legislator. I intend to do this after another 10 days--do start fixing them. They can always be added back after there is an article written and accepted. DGG (talk) 01:51, 9 June 2008 (UTC)
- someone has been reverting edits. If it continues. i intend to ask for page protection. ChiragPatnaik (talk) 18:43, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
forget nandita das! sam pitroda is an oriya? i have met him and he is a Gujarati. he is as much an Oriya as PM Manmohan Singh an Assamese! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 203.98.112.227 (talk) 20:49, 4 November 2009 (UTC)
Hello, Nandita Das is a person from Orissa, so also Sam Pitroda. You have no reason to compare them with Manmohan Singh. Manmohan Singh is from Pakistan, so also L.K.Advani. Sonia Gandhi is from Italy. Whoever has placed Nandita Das and Pitroda in the list has a constructive mind unlike you. First develop some common sense. For people like you WIKI is calling this page THIRD RATE and unreliable. If this page is unreliable and worthy to be DELETED, WIKI is a worthless site.59.161.129.223 (talk) 17:49, 15 February 2012 (UTC)

- Not done. Difference seems to be the addition of Amartya Bhattacharyya. The article says says that he's from Kolkata, thought that's unsourced. In any case, please provide a reliable source. ◢ Ganbaruby! (talk) 03:55, 28 May 2021 (UTC)
