Names
[edit]The municipalities listed all have two names, e.g. "Alfoz de Lloredo (Alfoz Lloréu)". I'm tentatively guessing that the names in parentheses are the Basque names, since they don't seem to be regional names, which was the other idea that I had. Could someone fluent in Spanish and/or Basque please confirm, and add that explanation to the top of the page? --184.23.20.208 (talk) 21:30, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Overall: @Red-tailed hawk: Good expansion. Will have to assume good faith on the Spanish sources. Onegreatjoke (talk) 14:15, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Red-tailed hawk and Onegreatjoke: hook seems to fail verification, in that it implies that all Spanish citizens living in Norway can vote in the elections of this municipality. Could that be changed, or could another hook be found? theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 06:31, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
- @Onegreatjoke and Theleekycauldron: While I somewhat disagree that the hook is misleading, here's an alt hook:
- ALT1: ... that some people who aren't Spanish citizens have the right to vote in elections for local public officials in the municipalities of Cantabria?

- I'd be happy to promote that if Onegreatjoke approves it, or approve it myself and pass promotion along to someone else. theleekycauldron (talk • contribs) (she/her) 23:39, 16 December 2022 (UTC)
