Reorganisation

[edit]

I'm currently working on a new list (based on Afasmit's List of mountains of the Alps above 3000 m) containing every summit in Switzerland with a least 300 m of prominence. This list will have the advantage of being exhaustive (or nearly) and spatially homogeneous. I'll also start another list with a much lower prominence criterion for the highest summits (something like above 3500 m).ZachG (Talk) 12:48, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

It's done (I moved part of the previous content to List of the highest summits of Switzerland). Feedbacks welcome as always. ZachG (Talk) 16:12, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Insertion into main list ?

[edit]

Hi Zacharie Grossen. How does one add Aiguille des Angroniettes to the list/s in the article? Eno Lirpa (talk) 13:42, 26 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

H.S. I missed this one (been off wiki for a while)! Please don't add entries to this list, it is already complete as it contains all summits over 300 m prominence. Unfortunately your summit is not notable enough to be put in any existing list I know on wikipedia, even List of mountains of Valais (also complete). It is really only of local interest. So Sorry. Zach. Thanks. No biggee at all. Ditto me. Inactive for some time and will be for a time longer. Cheers. Eno Lirpa (talk) 13:45, 5 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

New candidates

[edit]

Here are some new 300 m prominent mountains (glacier retreat of course):

This is not an exhaustive list... Zach (Talk) 16:11, 13 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
