MPOs listed in the table show the municipality in which the MPO's offices are located, but that is often not representative of the urbanized area for which the MPO plans. A prime example is North Central Texas, which plans for Dallas-Fort Worth and has its offices midway between the two in Arlington, Texas as a compromise. Listing the location of the MPO as "city" leads those unfamiliar to regional transportation planning to think that is the primary urbanized area for which the MPO plans. It would likely be more helpful to label this column as "Office Location" or something like, and to provide another column with primary urbanized areas served.Ben (talk) 21:06, 13 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
