There is/was a Japanese men's magazine named Goro. If you google "Goro magazine Japan", you can see some cover photos and a few issues for sale on Ebay.
It ran from sometime in the 1970s (Jun 9 1977 was issue #11 of that year, so perhaps twice monthly) to at least Aug 1987. Issues were typically quite large (sometimes over 200 pages) and often included a removable poster. There were occasional "special issues". Unfortunately I don't have much more information that that.
Some known issues: Jun 09 1977 #11 The Runaways & Charie Currie Jan 12 1983 #2 Yuko Natori, Kyoko Koizumi Apr 28 1983 #9 Miwako Fujitani, Jyuri Hamada Jan 01 1986 #1 Aki Mizusawa, Show-Ya, Miho Nakayama, Sade, Asia, Kawasaki GPZ250R Jun 25 1987 #13 Madonna "Welcome to Japan - Who's That Girl Tour" pre article Jul 09 1987 #14 Madonna "Japan Tour Report" review article Aug 13 1987 #16 Michael Jackson, Kumiko Goto, Hidemi Ishikawa, Tomoko Takabe — Preceding unsigned comment added by Howard Landman (talk • contribs) 21:09, 4 April 2017 (UTC)

Animedia link
[edit]There is now an article for Animedia that can replace the red link. I'm not sure how to make the link work but if anyone knows how they can PastaBoiler (talk) 18:18, 16 March 2022 (UTC)PastaBoiler.
