[edit]That Slender Man thing keeps getting added, I'll remove it but in case anyone sees it, just know it just started on a make your own scary story thing on a forum. It's on KnowYourMeme. 67.140.4.177 (talk) 04:46, 5 January 2011 (UTC)
- Right. Just reverted it again. Slender Man is a meme that doesn't have a basis in real mythology, so he doesn't belong here any more than, say, Vorpal swords or Cthulhu. On that note, I've also seen the Rake listed on the List of Cryptids page... 98.65.163.222 (talk) 02:08, 20 January 2012 (UTC)
- How is Slender Man any less 'real' than the other things listed here? These myths probably started out the same way as the Slender Man myth, so I think it deserves a mention here. 92.24.102.162 (talk) 21:59, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
- I agree with the user above-Slenderman is a legendary creature created in modern times. It is still a legendary creature, no matter when it is created. Streona (talk) 20:42, 11 April 2013 (UTC)
