[edit]Shouldn't Sabine Bergmann-Pohl be April 5, 1990, not April 5, 1989?
- Yes. I've corrected it. Kraxler (talk) 11:38, 7 June 2014 (UTC)
Should this article be split -- other articles have done the same.
[edit]Shouldn't this article be split, for example in the vein of the recent heads of state of France template?
It is also already the model followed with regards to other similar countries, UK etc...
Altanner1991 (talk) 10:52, 4 August 2020 (UTC)
- No. While France has the advantages of having been a country for centuries, this does not apply to Germany. Hence you could not neatly split it along any date. If you split it along the 1918 date (monarchs vs. presidents), you would have the earlier list as the same hodge podge. If you split it along the 1866 date (German nation state vs. anything that came before), the earlier list would fall apart.
- Better keep it unified. Str1977 (talk) 10:53, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
- I agree because while templates should be divided, the page should stay together. Also some "Presidents" of Germany were actually Chairman or "Führer" etc, so for now this is the most accurate way. Altanner1991 (talk) 23:56, 12 August 2020 (UTC)
