Maesteg
[edit]Polden's book says that there was a county court in Maesteg between 1906 and 1913, but there's nothing to confirm this in the Statutory Instruments either in hard copy or in the London Gazette as far as I can tell. If anyone knows of another source, then please add Maesteg back. BencherliteTalk 09:29, 22 January 2008 (UTC)

Newbridge/Pontypridd County Court
[edit]I have amended the entry on Newbridge County Court to make it clear that there was never a County Court in the village of Newbridge (formerly Monmouthshire, now Caerphilly County Borough). The former Newbridge County Court was renamed as the Pontypridd County Court a few months after it was originally opened (the town itself, and its railway station, was renamed around that time, apparently to avoid confusion with Newbridge (Mon)). As the Pontypridd County Court is still open, I would question whether it is in fact appropriate to include Newbridge County Court here at all, as it is a change of name, not a closure.
