Format of program tables

• I simplified the collapse-markup and removed the large spacing between the header and tracklist. I hope, that's okay. If you prefer the old tracklist formatting, I can revert it, but I think this version is less bulky and fits the global style of the table better.
• I also updated the lang- and ill-templates, and made the formatting of foreign music piece names uniform across the table.
• When we move the table to the new sub-page, my suggestion is to extract show programs from the current "exhibition" column and place them in a separate table sorted by year (it's difficult to assign ice shows to a specific figure skating season). It would also have the advantage that we can remove the bulky "show" labels and reduce annotation clusters.

Sorry, I just got to reply now. I like the edit and draft. I was thinking to delay this and focus on the article, but since we're talking about this now, I have some suggestions:

1. I don't think it's necessary to separate Novice from Junior/Senior. It's okay to have the Gala column empty in the beginning like we have now. I think the right title is "Competitive and exhibition programs" as used on Figure skating.

Okay, then I will merge novice and the rest again. I just wanted to see how it looks, when it's split. The blue and bold highlighting of Olympic seasons and programs can be removed as well if unfitting. However, it might make sense to leave them because they nicely divide the table into Olympic cycles and make the navigation easier. They also highlight the notability of Olympic programs and why they have their own sections about background and making.

Regarding the title: The ISU neither uses "competition program" nor "competitive program" in their general or special regulations, while Skate Canada for example names it explicitely "competition program". So I would probably go with the second highest instance of national federations here, and keep it as "competition and exhibition programs". 2. For the show programs as competitive skater, at first I was thinking to only feature collaborations, thus I intend to have a separate column for collaborator then we can use articles on their collabs as refs. But now I don't know how to apply that.

I have only used sources in the draft that explicitely mention the live music collaborations. Also, instead of "performed by" I used "performed live with" to distinguish between recordings and live music performances, and highlighted the latter in blue. Now that we have this separate page, I think it's okay to include all show programs, not just the live collaborations, but we have to condense it a bit for the years between 2011 and 2014, when Hanyu participated in an insane number of shows. Maybe mention a program once per year and list all shows where that program was performed to keep the table at reasonable length. I think, that should work. 3. For bibliography and DVD releases, we will only list ones who have Hanyu formally listed as one of the authors (otherwise it would be very crazily long). I finally found the Japanese ISBN search engine here and here are the releases I got.

The thing is, it would definitely stay as a list of works on Hanyu's biography article. But if we're making a separate article, do we want to make them into tables like on Madonna bibliography? The Notes column will help to make the case on why the list is notable. Table for Home Videos would be similar to Madonna videography#Video albums. Btw, I'm thinking to just go ahead and add Autobiography (afaik Yume wo Ikiru is a compilation of interviews not autobiography?) and Journal to Yuzuru Hanyu now as a list, how do you think? - Yolo4A4Lo (talk) 10:08, 19 September 2022 (UTC)

Phew, I am not familiar with such lists of work yet, so I can't say much about it atm, but I like your structure from above. You might be right that a full list would blow up the page, we can see how it goes. • In case of "various shows", it is enough to cite two or three selected shows at max. Any show with a reliable source will do.
• Enter online sources as an URL-link and print sources as ISBN/OCLC/JAN number with page/chapter.
