[Copied from "Wikipedia talk:SGpedians' notice board".]

A new article has shown up, Extreme points of Singapore. Pls feel free to edit it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Kumaran59 (talkcontribs) 11:17, 23 July 2009

Thanks. Some suggestions:
  • You need to give references for the information in the article.
  • Why do you refer to Singapore island as Pulau Ujong? This does not seem to be a common usage.
  • The highest point in Singapore is not Bukit Merah but Bukit Timah.
  • I'd suggest that the "Interpretation of easternmost and westernmost" section be moved to the top.
  • Do a spell check!

southernmost vs nearest to the equator

Why are two different islands (Pulau Senang, Pulau Satumu) listed for this? What allows something tobe nearer to the equator that the the southernmost point (given all are in the northern hemishere)? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sejtam (talkcontribs) 15:28, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
