Systemic banks

[edit]

Γεια σας!

@Thakaran: removed Attica Bank from the "Systemic banks" and placed it among "Other banks incorporated in Greece" with the comment that it is "unreferenced".

Actually, the article does not state at all what would be the difference between a "systemic" bank and an "other" bank. Still, my feeling is that, since the consolidation of the sector in 2013, Attica Bank is consistently cited by the media among the 5 major remaining bank networks in Greece, although it is indeed smaller than the other 4. Here are a few examples of news pieces that cite it as such: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8] [9]. You wouldn't see the Co-Operative Bank of Drama listed as consistently as Attica Bank among the major banks.

Therefore I believe that we should either merge the two sections into a single "Banks incorporated in Greece" section, or include Attica Bank among the top 5 banks. Place Clichy (talk) 02:35, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
