Excessive details of CV
[edit]Some of these "notes" seem to give the entire CV (résumé) of the people concerned. In my opinion this is excessive given that they have their own article and this is only supposed to be a listt. Can this be purged?----Ehrenkater (talk) 14:37, 24 July 2018 (UTC)
Non Notable
[edit]Recently someone who does not have an Wikipedia article has been adding their name to this article against Lists and notability guidelines. I stopped editing today at 3 RR as I know that unless it meets certain criteria I cannot edit war and cross the bright red line. This article as enough entries that it does not need to add individuals who have not yet established they are notable. This, to me, is blatant self promotion and should be removed. --VVikingTalkEdits 20:23, 14 April 2022 (UTC)
Looked deeper into the claims of the individual that was added. Would probably not meet General notability guidelines. While he has written a few books, published by major publishers, those books have not received a lot of verifiable 3rd part references. When look at the individual they would also probably not meet notable Academics either. Their h index is way below what research gate states is needed for an individual to be considered a scholar in computer science. They have not held poses prestigious scholarly societies, "The Society of Mexican Students in the UK" is not a prestigious scholarly society or association. They claim that he is the father of quantum computing in Mexico is not help up by independent third party sources. As he is not currently notable according to the guidelines of currently having an article, and the claims to notability are dubious at best, it does not look like this individual will have an article on Wikipedia anytime soon, he should not be included in this list. We don't list everyone who goes to a school, just notable individuals. --VVikingTalkEdits 21:42, 15 April 2022 (UTC)
