Episode 14
[edit]Anyone know if the info on episode 14 is valid? 71.135.32.43 (talk) 05:44, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
- No, it's not. Rau's Speak Page 06:00, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
The orginal airdates for the second season are true. In our country (Bulgaria) the second season will be aired before Canada. I will first know who is the Green Goblin in season two. --Batman tas (talk) 08:58, 19 January 2009 (UTC)
I just saw episode #19, "Growing Pains", so the second season list is correct. It's extremely likely that Nova TV have the whole season till the end as well. Such a thing (some series premiering in Bulgaria) happens rarely, and is probably just because no station in the US picked it up, and because of the practice to show more than one episode a week here. --Mégara (Мегъра) - D. G. Mavrov (talk) 08:39, 7 February 2009 (UTC)
The current edits are also correct - from this week, The Spectacular Spiderman has stopped airing. It was replaced by Teen Titans. --Mégara (Мегъра) - D. G. Mavrov (talk) 17:28, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
Please, don't remove the Canadian and Bulgarian dates. It may be a US show, but the point of adding these dates was to show that it didn't premiere in the US. No web source for the BG dates is available, as Bulgarian TV networks never list the name of the episode they're airing. Besides, the date differences between Canada, Bulgaria and Australia and the US are so big, that it's worth noting it. --Mégara (Мегъра) - D. G. Season 2 plot synopsis
[edit]I propose that we rewrite the plot synopsis for all season 2 episodes, as they are just copy/pasted from http://marvel.toonzone.net/news.php?action=fullnews&id=155 . Kimu 04:57, 14 February 2009 (UTC)
- Those are from a press release so seem fine. I am a little uneasy about seeing expanded plot details from episodes that haven't actually been shown in English yet; it's not specifically against Wikipedia policy to write them up like that (unless, I suppose, it qualifies as "original research") but I imagine it's going to lead to rather enormous spoilers being leaked on this page as we approach the final episodes, and enormous spoilers are never helpful to anyone. MultipleTom (talk) 19:26, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Season 2 has been airing in Canada since January 11 (in fact, there are full episodes on youtube. See here) Also, I didn't mean expand; my problem was that they were copied and pasted off the that website. As for spoilers, "It is not acceptable to delete information from an article because you think it spoils the plot. Such concerns must not interfere with neutral point of view, encyclopedic tone, completeness, or any other element of article quality (for example, Wikipedia:Lead section). However, when including spoilers, editors should make sure that an encyclopedic purpose is being served. Wikipedia is not an indiscriminate collection of information — articles on a work of fiction should primarily describe it from a real-world perspective, discussing its reception, impact and significance.WP:SPOIL" Kimu 05:08, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not talking about deleting spoilers, I'm suggesting they aren't inserted in the first place. One major problem here is that given none of the episodes after episode 6 have been transmitted in English, it is impossible for most editors to verify any of the inserted information. MultipleTom (talk) 14:22, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- Why don't you think that they (spoilers) shouldn't be inserted to begin with? Also, since the English episodes air on a weekly basis, then of course episodes beyond number 6 won't be available in English since episode 6 just aired last saturday, and the way we would check the information added would be to cross-check with other information released about season 2. Kimu 17:24, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- Eh? MultipleTom (talk) 20:42, 23 February 2009 (UTC)
- OK, let me clarify. You said that spoilers shouldn't be included in the first place. My question is "why not?"
- Now, you said that there was no way for users to verify what was being added. I'm saying that we should rewrite the plots (please not that I'm not saying that we should add new material until it can be verifed) of the episodes for per prose issues. Kimu 01:27, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. My point about the spoilers relates specifically to the episodes that haven't been shown in English yet, but have apparently been in Bulgaria, rather than the ones that have been shown in English by a Canadian TV station. There is not only the issue of plot details getting lost in translation but also the complete inability of non-Bulgarian-speaking Wikipedians to verify this. So there's no way for most of us to tell what's a genuine addition to an article or a fanfic insert a la certain edits to the Secret Invasion article. MultipleTom (talk) 16:22, 24 February 2009 (UTC)
- Very true. So, what we could do is rewrite the plots for the episodes as they air, ensuring that the information is sound, while simultaneously fixing the style issue(s). Kimu 19:44, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

- You see what I mean? "Rhino appears, triyng to get the chip for Dr. Octopus" is not what happened in the episode. Yet nobody edited this out because too few users had seen it until now, because it hadn't been broadcast in English. MultipleTom (talk) 12:46, 10 March 2009 (UTC)
- I understand that. That's why I'm suggesting rewriting the episodes as they air in English, assuring the information is true. Kimu 03:58, 18 March 2009 (UTC)
Season three?
[edit]What the heck,w here' steh source? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.25.187.11 (talk) 18:20, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
I can't find the exact article, but the Scorpion and Hobgoblin parts came from Greg Weisman's site in his "Ask Greg" section. 67.186.163.48 (talk) 17:05, 11 August 2009 (UTC)
- I hate to be one of those citation-needed people, but we currently have two false, contradictory, and -impossible- statements under 'season 3' .. particularly egregious is the "announced in January 2010" ... someone's got a future-mo-scope. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.70.113 (talk) 22:03, 20 December 2009 (UTC)
- I have more of an issue that states the fate of season three depends upon the petition sites. When you click the source it just links you to a fan petition. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.127.155.132 (talk) 22:35, 30 January 2010 (UTC)
Episode Summaries/Story Arc pages?
[edit]With season 2 set to make its US premiere in one month, it's time we clean this page up. Currently each episode description contains modified versions of the press loglines. However, people keep popping up and adding trivial details to each brief description. Given the nature of the show, each episode contains a wealth of references and details to note. It's unlikely that we'd be able to make a separate page for each episode, but would it be at all possible to create a page for each arc? That way we'd be able to have a barebones desciption on the episode page, but have a full article on each episode within its respective arc page. Jbetteridge (talk) 23:45, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
If that isn't allowed, then more detailed summaries should be written for each episode on the existing page. Also, we need to fix the format of the season 2 table! Jbetteridge (talk) 23:45, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
- For now, I am reverting all episode descriptions back to the official loglines until we know exactly how proper episode summaries will be handled. Jbetteridge (talk) 07:59, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
